The Hong archipelago consists of about a dozen of islands. Some of which are so small that it does not have its own beach. Travellers can get there through a 20 minute speedboat ride or through riding a longtail that takes about 45 minutes from Ao Nang, the central coastal point of Krabi. Its main island of Koh Hong is among visitors’ top travel destination due to its majestic lagoon and spectacular rock formations. Other islands such as Koh Pakbia and Koh Rai also feature some impressive sandbars that are revealed at low tide.

  • The 4 Islands

The most popular day time itinerary for tourists is the trip to 4 islands. It is the closest archipelago from the coast of Krabi.
