The Tiger Cave, locally known as Wat Tham Sua, is Krabi’s sacred Buddhist temple with unrivaled view. It features the Big Buddha and golden chedi on mountaintop, above the sea of fog, and just right beneath the sky with 360-degree view over Krabi.

The Tiger Cave is indeed a maze of natural caves with tiger paw prints on the stone and marvelous story behind it.
Located just 9 km off Krabi Airport, this place is accessible by a scooter, a car or the blue Songthaew (the pick-up point is opposite Krabi Airport) that will drop you off at the main intersection, then take a walk for about 20 mins or hire a motorcycle taxi to the temple.
