Ko Lanta is a little less well-known than Ko Phi Phi but it truly offers an authentic island experience where traditional island life still exists.
Ko Lanta is located 80 km south of Krabi. It’s divided into Ko Lanta Yai, where major attractions are on, and Ko Lanta Noi, where it still riches in traditional way of life.
Both Ko Lanta have been inhibited for hundreds of years. Both can be visited for different purposes. Head to Ko Lanta Yai for developed beach areas with resorts, restaurants, and internet cafes on offer. To experience the island’s folk tradition, Ko Lanta Noi is the place to be.
