Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Phrachomklao Rachanusorn or generally known as the Floating Pagodas were built upon faith of the locals and Buddhist monks in the area taking 10 years to finish. The Buddha’s footprints were also said to have been found and enshrined on the peak.

– Fly to Lampang with Bangkok Airways and choose whether to take a taxi, rent a car with driver or drive by yourself 60 km from Lampang Airport to Wat Chaloem Phra Kiat Phrachomklao Rachanusorn. Park your car at the entrance then you must hire a serviced 4-wheel-drive truck to take you further from here. The driver will drop you off up there and you’ll need to hike for 1 km.
